1. You'd put a health-promoting green banana into boiling oil and you've just created yet another toxic food only Westerners would be suicidal enough to eat. I'd prefer the old lady's humble and healthful recipe. She creates comfort food for the body, not necessarily for the junkie tongue, whereas your recipe is to provide fleeting pleasures for the tongue whilst killing the body.

  2. Simply cook them in their skins. No need really to struggle to peel them. Top and tail the banana, slice along the side like you did and drop them in boiling water. Done.

  3. You've tasted them the wrong way, im paacific islander, and it depends on the way you cook the green banana. if you cook it wrong, it tastes like shit. you hav2 add the proper flavours too.
